There was a surprise on the Dolphins depth chart when it came out earlier this week. On Monday August 6, 2018 a reporter asked Adam Gase what his reasoning was for listing both Frank Gore and Kenyan Drake number 1 on the depth chart. The answer he gave had much of the media scratching their heads, and the others were laughing. When asked this question Adam Gase responded saying, “just to be an asshole”. He then went on to talk about how both running backs will get will share playing time; they may even be on the field at the same time.
How much of this is true? Are they going to be on the field together often or will they split the carries? Although this story is interesting, I believe the most interesting thing about this is the fact that the RB’s behind them have had pretty good camps so far. Senorise Perry and Kalen Ballage may also get playing time if they can perform in the pre season. It is going to be really interesting to see how this depth chart situation plays out. The team that is ranked number 29 in the power ranking seems to be the most intriguing!
